Monday, 12 April 2010 - As part of their company’s agenda, National Insurance Company Berhad (NICB) recently organized a company trip to Miri, Sarawak.
The NICB team which was headed by the General Manager, Kolja Klawunn, the management team and staff was given a warm welcome at the Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club in Miri, Sarawak.
The team was there from 9 – 11 April 2010. The 3 days event was filled with various activities such as company meeting, team building, shopping and golf outing and annual staff party.
Kolja in his remark during the company meeting thanked the team for their valuable time and support in 2009. Managers from each department have also presented a presentation to all the staff on their strategies for 2010. This was followed by a dinner at the Lakeview coffee house.
The following day, the staff had a great time with indoor and outdoor teambuilding activities, whereby they were able to demonstrate their skills in solving problems and building trust in each other. Regardless of the hot sun, the team joined forces to complete obstacles like running through pot holes, 7 feet drop wall, tyre cliff, commando crawl and other challenges. These challenges have strengthened the bond between the staff to achieve the goals together.
The annual staff party “slumber party” was also the highlight of the trip. For their hard work and dedication, each staff received a lucky draw gift that night.
Kolja Klawunn thanked the staff for their support and is looking forward to a profitable 2010.
