Wednesday, 18th January 2012 – National Insurance Co Bhd (NICB) Kicked off its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive on Wednesday 18th January by donating school bags to two schools namely St. Andrew’s School and St. George’s School at Bandar Seri Begawan.
At St. Andrew’s school, the donation was made by the General Manager of NICB, Mr. Kolja Klawunn. In his short speech, Mr. Kolja mentioned that as a corporate organisation, NICB does not only focus on business entirely but also making CSR as part of company’s activities. Mr. Kolja did the handing over of the school bags to the students with the presence of Ms. Jane Keasberry, the Principal of St. Andrew’s school and the staff.
Shortly after, another donation was made to St. George’s school by Mr Wilfred Lungga, Assistant Manager of Claims (NICB), it was handed over to Mr. Mubarak, the school Deputy Principal with the presence of the school staff.
NICB will continue to pursue its charitable drive to assist underprivileged students as part of its corporate social responsibility.
