GM's Statement
Welcome to NIC's (National Insurance Company) web presence

 

After a challenging yet successful year 2010 we are off to reach new heights.

A small group of staff, agents, family members and even ex-staff joined in to conquer Mt Kinabalu recently. The management also renewed the commitment to our company sports club, e.g. through organizing inter-company Futsal games or in participating in Charity fun runs. With these activities we try to strengthen both camaraderie and rapport among staff and agents and also support a healthy lifestyle. Most recently we introduced a company fruit day whereby every Thursday each staff receives a small complementary fruit basket.

Besides a healthy lifestyle National Insurance also supports schools and students in need for assistance. The What's on!! section will give you more information on our corporate social responsibility activities.

We at National strive for excellence and outstanding service. We listen to our agents and customers and with their trust and support we have achieved remarkable results over the past years. The company continues to be the market leader in Brunei with a market share of 40% (excl. Takaful companies).

National's partnership with the Allianz Group complements our local insurance expertise and together we are able to accommodate almost every request for insurance. Our qualified, experienced and highly motivated staff will ensure that all business relations, be it quotations, claims or customer complaints will be handled in a fair, reasonable and professional manner.

Our commitment in 2011/12 and beyond will be to not merely maintain, but also to enhance our efforts. I'm interested in hearing what our stakeholders think about our performance and how we can improve.
