INTRODUCTION

This insurance is designed to cover death or injuries suffered by employees arising out of and in the course of employment. It also indemnifies the Employer (Insured) if sued by employees for negligence.
Principal Compensations available under Workmen’s Compensation Act are: |
- Death
- Permanent Disability
- Other forms of injury
- Medical expenses

PRINCIPAL EXCLUSIONS
- Any injury by accident or disease directly attributable to war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war, mutiny
- The Insured’s liability to employees of contractors to the insured
- Any employee who is not a “workman” within the meaning of the Law(s)
- Any injury directly attributed to the employee under the influence of alcohol or a drug not prescribed by a medical practitioner
- Any incapacity or death resulting from a deliberate self-injury or the deliberate aggravation of an accidental injury
